To celebrate the start of European Biotech Week 2024, EuropaBio – the European Association for Bioindustries organised the webinar ‘The Future of Biotech: The Role of Legislation on Investment for Innovation’ to discuss the critical intersection of legislation and investment into innovation within the bioeconomy. The webinar brought together representatives from the biotech industry, the private investment community community, and the European institutions to explore the essential elements required to foster a thriving biotech and life sciences ecosystem in the EU.

In light of one of our upcoming policy brief tasks, the PROSPLIGN team attended the webinar to get more familiar with the intersection between research findings and the role they can play in adding to existing or forming new policies.
