On 27 and 28 November 2024, the 11th Biorizon Annual Event on Bioaromatics, took place in Antwerp, Belgium and online. PROSPLIGN was there represented by our Coordinating team at KelAda Pharmachem Ltd. with Dr. Malachi Gillick-Healy and Arlene Bonner – the latest valuable addition to our team of experts!

Over the past years, the event has evolved into a must-attend event for anyone who’s interested in reneable aromatics. Large industry players, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME’s) and Research and Technology Organisations (RTO’s) from all over the world were present to discuss the latest progress in the field of bioaromatics and to elaborate on the opportunities to accelerate biobased business together.

Researchers from the Biomolecular Engineering Lab at UCIBIO, our partners at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, have developed unique and innovative bioinspired olfaction technologies, that will be used in PROSPLIGN to discover and validate lignin-derived molecules with commerial hashtag#commercial potential for the fragrances industry.
